Sales Training
The sales training includes:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes each year.
    • Two week course focused on technical and sales to better empower the RSC for success in their region.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes each year.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their market.
  • Two (2) different sales courses provided for General Managers twice a year, totaling 4 ½ training days, focusing on sales culture and daily sales management.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians contains:

  • Furnace and air conditioning tune-up procedural training twice a year
  • Heat exchanger and carbon monoxide inspection in the fall
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ twice a year
  • Continuous NATE certification and specialty programs as required

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in additional instruction through the launch of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc courses to better provide education to our technical staff.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice a year, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to give support, tools, and structure for running a business from the P&L perspective.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times a year, participate in outbound calling over a one (1) day program. In this program we cover heating, ventilation, and air conditioning basics, why people buy, calling techniques, scripts, customer purchase signals, and controlling customer grievances.

Dispatcher

  • No formal courses offered. On the job training provided by the General Manager and relevant staff in the office.
